Forget about traditional recreational sports like dodgeball or volleyball, and take a dive into something different: inner tube water polo.
Boston Inner Tube Water Polo (“Boston ITWP”) is a co-ed adult recreational sports league of over 100 active professionals, graduate and college students and even some cool moms and dads who get together on a weekly basis to play inner tube water polo.

Think water polo but in an inner tube. We take the best parts from hockey, basketball and soccer and add a pool and inner tubes to create a flippin’ good time. See for yourself — register here for the upcoming season.
Players of all ages (19+) and all skill levels are welcome.
Do you need a way to break up the monotony of the work week with some new friends? Forget about responding to that email from your boss and grab your bathing suit - it’s almost game time. Register for the Wednesday Night League or Thursday Night League here.
Boston ITWP games are held weekly on Wednesday and Thursday nights at the pool in the Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center at MIT — about a 10-minute walk from the Central Square or Kendall Square MBTA T stops and right on the #1 bus line. Learn more about the current league dates.
Registration guarantees that you will get to play in the upcoming season - i.e., six regular season nights of gameplay and one playoffs night.
The winning team at the end of each season will also receive a complimentary pitcher of beer from the sponsor bar. Sorry, young ducklings, but this prize is only for adults 21 and older.
Registration for the Wednesday and Thursday Night Leagues are now open. Click here to register. We’ll see you in the pool.
